Marcelo founded Ecosave Pty Ltd in 2002 and over the last 15 years has grown it into an industry leading energy and water services company.
Marcelo has 30 years of experience in leading people and companies, including as a business turnaround specialist working for a corporate training multinational.
Marcelo set up his first business at age 21.
Marcelo’s focus is on sales management, financial and corporate training and development.
Marcelo’s vision is to ensure that Ecosave continues growing profitably to become the first global energy services company to offer every piece of the energy services puzzle.
Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer
Robin is a carbon management and energy efficiency specialist. Robin manages a team of engineering and environmental professionals to deliver energy and water saving solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.
His extensive technical skills cover all facets of carbon, energy and water management including corporate policy development, sustainability program development, energy and water efficiency, metering and monitoring, environmentally sustainable design, compliance reporting, innovation and project management.
Robin has managed teams at Coffey Environments and UGL Services Beyond Green prior to joining Ecosave as the Chief Operating Officer.

Ben manages our team of engineering professionals and has a proven track record of managing teams and projects to deliver performance based outcomes for businesses. He has extensive experience across multiple sectors, including industrial performance contracting, building energy efficiency and Energy Performance Contracting (EPC).
Ben has extensive experience in the management of the EPC process from the tender process, through delivery to sustaining the benefits. Ben has developed and implemented projects in the built environment utilising technologies such as co/ tri-generation, lighting, HVAC, BMS and water efficiency and in the industrial sector diverse technologies such as solar circulation and mini-hydro, multivariable predictive control and process simulation.
Ben has a BScEng (HONS) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with PMP certification and also an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from the University of New England.
Independent Non – Executive Director
Andy has over 25 years experience in Sales and Marketing roles with a particular focus on the development, implementation and enablement of CRM, database marketing and lead generation strategies.
Having held several marketing strategy and consulting positions for global organisations such as Ogilvy & Mather, Andy has consulted at an executive level across many local and multi national businesses, focusing on helping them generate leads and drive client engagement through database and content–driven marketing.
Andy has also held General Management roles across data, marketing and consulting businesses, and is currently Chief Operating Officer of a mid stage ASX-listed digital start-up.
Following several years of Ecosave’s success and rapid growth in the ANZ region, founder and CEO Marcelo Rouco expanded the business to United States in 2013 where he now leads the fast growing Philadelphia based office. In the absence of Marcelo’s presence and daily involvement within the business – his dynamic leadership and sales drive – the mature Ecosave ANZ operation started to experience a period of reducing revenues. The Board recognised the need to engage an executive who is an expert in transforming and reinvigorating companies; one who can reshape the business model and implement a strategic blueprint for business growth, business continuity and business succession planning.
In November 2016, John Harriott was appointed by the Board as Group Managing Director for Ecosave ANZ.
John Harriott is a proven sales and growth oriented Executive with a career implementing turnaround strategies and increased valuation for firms in the professional services, venture capital, finance, enterprise outsourcing, technology, construction and distribution sectors.
Repeatable, portable success comes from his development, stakeholder buy-in and client facing leadership in the implementation of focused Go To Market plans.
John specialises in driving rapid organic growth by inspiring and leading in the field a direct sales and services force that creates customer need whilst nurturing key alliance partnerships for maximum leverage and potential merge and acquisition opportunity.
John develops owners, Boards, leaders and investors in a number of Top 500 enterprise and emerging firms whilst leading fund raising activities for charities.
John has enjoyed a career including A$50-350 Million A/NZ revenue responsibility for sales, partner and implementation teams with enterprise providers IBM, CSC, Wang and Telxon and has carried CEO, sales director and financial result /exit strategy responsibility for a number of fast growth firms with turnover ranging from A$15-85 Million.
